With just 9 days to go, the 5th Annual PAWS Mutt Strut is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet! On October 29, nearly 2,000 dog lovers and their dogs will walk the scenic 1.5 mile loop in FDR Park to raise funds and awareness for Philadelphia's homeless animals. Meet your new best friend: Dozens of PAWS dogs will be there to strut their stuff and find loving homes. Plus, for the first time, cats will be attending! Our Mobile Adoption Unit will be there with plenty of adoptable felines waiting inside.

It's More than a Dog Walk! Enjoy a variety of fun activities for 2-legged and 4-legged participants alike: dog obstacle course, costume contest, pet portraits, training tips, ask the vet, microchipping, grooming, and much more! Plus, a full lineup of gourmet food trucks will be on-hand to offer sandwiches, pizza, cupcakes, coffee, and other goodies.

Name Your Own Adoption Fee Continues Through October
Through October 31, when you give a homeless pet a new chance at life, you can name your own fee. We have dogs and cats to fit nearly every lifestyle and personality: now's the time to adopt a pet who needs you!

Looking to adopt at the Mutt Strut? Get a head start by submitting your application ahead of time. Have vet records for current or previous pets handy, as well as proof that pets are allowed in your home if you rent.
